To appease the granny within me today I’m going to talk about the weather. It has rained in New Orleans for at least the last seven consecutive days. Very typical summer weather: sun in the morning, rain in the afternoon. The latest rain showers (previous 24+ hours) deserve more attention. It has rained so much that our sun room has turned into the wet room. The rain is pouring down the walls. I’ve never seen anything like it. Brown rain. Stinky rain.
I know, blame it on the rain.
